Four ordinary children are about to discover the mystery of
Learning Land. Each story takes them on a wondrous adventure. Josh,
Cindy, Johnpaul and Aubrey always seem to run into trouble as ordinary
kids do. Usually the trouble begins in school, the city streets, on the
playground or as a result of their very interesting and different home
backgrounds. Even their own friends and acquaintances seem to get them
in trouble. Fortunately, before they suffer the consequences of some
wrong choices they make during this time, something very unusual
*In the subconsciousness of their shock, a beautiful
angel from a mysterious land of learning appears and rescues them. She
takes them on a journey to the workshop of a ‘master teacher’ who shows
them what their problems are really all about.
In Learning Land they learn creative projects that come alive. While the children are working on the projects, they learn some of the reasons why they got in trouble in the first place and they learn some ways to avoid trouble in the future. (The children reading the book also learn the projects with step by step instructions included in the books.)
When the children are finished with their projects, the master teacher tells them a story that takes them on yet another adventure. The projects they had been working on come alive during the story and they see and hear the answers to the problems they’ve had in their own town.
After the tale is ended, the Learning Land Angel takes them back to where they met her and they find themselves in their original situation. This time with a solution to their problem. The endings of all the stories include a real life result of what happens when the children use what they learned in the town of Learning Land to get them out of trouble.
This whimsical masterpiece in storytelling will have your children thoroughly enchanted. It’s a great learning tool and a great way to introduce your children to correct moral values and judgments while they’re having fun learning about new adventures.
Highly recommended for homeschooled children, too!
